Since the occurrence of CES 2012, one of Android's favorite smart phones has been named the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX. For everone that just purchased the RAZR, sorry. This phone is just flat out better. The RAZR is still a great phone, however.
If the above statement has lost you, it is my personal mission to find you once more. At CES, the latest and greatest technology was brought together. It's like a grown up science fair. Companies from all across the globe get to sell their products and amp up their company. One phone in particular got sold a lot.
The RAZR MAXX is from Droid, and along with that there was an unveiling of the Motorola Droid 4, repeat appearances of the Droid 3, and Droid RAZR. You can imagine the excitement with having 4 phones at a geek convention.
Without further a due, the review.
At CES, their sales pitch was based almost entirely off of their improved battery life with a "super battery" as they called it. They claimed you could drive from Vegas to L.A. and back with WiFi on and it would not die on you, or 6 hours of continuous video streaming, or about 8 movies.
That is quite the claim.
Other plus sides to the phone are that it kept the Motorola Droid RAZR's slim design, being 8.99 mm thick. You can see the entire device review specifications in the chart with comparisons of competing phones on the market.
